On Sunday Aug 29 at 2 pm sharp, The Tely Tour and NLGA will jointly host a Future Links Junior Skills Challenge at Terra Nova Golf Resort. The event is open to any Tely Tour member and is held the afternoon prior to the Tour Championship.

The Skills Challenge is part of the RCGA's Future Links Program. It tests driving length and accuracy, iron play, chipping accuracy and putting skills. Open to both boys and girls, participants compete in three age divisions: 11 and under, 12-14 and 15-18. For more info visit the Future Links web site at http://www.future-links.org/.

At 1:30, participants should assemble near the original practice green and driving range at Terra Nova Golf Resort for instructions on the competition. Note that the range and practice green adjacent to the Resort will not be used for this event. The originals are located near the Tea House between the 9th green and 10th tee. Driving Instructions: Turn off the TCH about 100 yards west of the Northwest River bridge. The Northwest River bridge is the one where the 11th green is visible from the TCH.

Tely Tour members must register for this event by sending an email to bwatson@telytour.ca that includes their name, Tour ID number and subject "Junior Skills Challenge at Terra Nova".

Note: The Tour Championship requires a separate registration.  Contact the Pro Shop at Terra Nova Golf Resort to register for The Tour Championship.
